Hailing from the Rust Belt, Stephen Babcock's journey began in modest surroundings, a world shaped by the blue-collar pulse of industry. Eight years of relentless dedication birthed "Said & Done," Stephen's inaugural project that resonated with the authenticity of Rust Belt roots. As the release echoed beyond the industrial horizon, he embarked on a nationwide tour, from intimate Nashville writers' rooms to stages across the United States. "Fiction," the critically acclaimed EP dropped in April 2018, showcasing Stephen's genre-blending prowess. Opening for Ed Sheeran, William Hinson, Brad Goodall, and others, he became a favorite of PASTe, Atwood Magazine, Variance Mag and more. "Monroe," released in October 2021, solidified his place in the musical landscape. "When We Were Kids Ourselves" followed in late 2022, both albums weaving tales inspired by the honest songwriting Stephen has become known for. With the release of Stephen’s latest album “A Break in the Conversation” in September 2024, Stephen’s trajectory from Rust Belt beginnings to a musical force on the horizon signifies not just an individual journey but a collective anthem for those who find strength in simplicity and beauty in struggle.
NYE 5-Course Food and Wine Pairing at Symposium -
Join us on Wednesday, December 31st, from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m., as we close out 2025 and welcome 2026 with a specially curated multi-course experience.
This year’s 5-course dinner, curated by Chef Nicole, is inspired by symbols of luck and renewal from around the world, with quiet nods to tradition woven into each course and carried through the wine pairings. Each wine has been selected not only for how it complements the dish, but for the story it tells: hints of hope for the year ahead, notes of abundance, reflections on prosperity, and bright expressions of new beginnings - in true Order of the Vine fashion.
Symposium will reopen to the public after the dinner to toast to the New Year!
After dinner, feel free to stroll the Village and enjoy Lancaster’s NYE festivities, including free ice skating, the ball drop, and more.

A Mad Hatter's Tea Party with Gabrielle's Bakery and Symposium Wine Bar
Gabrielle’s Bakery and Symposium Wine Bar invite you to tumble down the rabbit hole for this year’s Mad Hatter’s Holiday Tea, a festive, wonder-filled twist on our beloved annual tradition.
Your afternoon begins with a whimsical welcome cocktail. From there, Chef Sarah will present a playful assortment of savory bites. The journey continues with curated teas from Gabrielle's Bakery, featuring a selection of both classic and imaginative blends, each perfectly paired with Gabrielle’s scratch-made sweets and pastries.
We encourage guests to arrive in their most delightfully curious “Mad Tea Party” attire, though festive holiday dress is equally welcome.

Join us for our 3rd annual holiday fashion show! Symposium is partnering with Juls & Jane boutique in the Village of Lancaster once again, for a sneak peek at their holiday collection!
